Enchanting Mini Dream House by Manuel Villa
We’re still gazing in search for a simple and mini house as our budget for housing is definitely limited. Renting a house won’t be a good idea as per year you can get your rent going sky high depending on the landlord, beside it’s better to buy than renting as you can also renovate anytime you want. During our search we find that this austere home located in Villa de Leyva, Colombia is one that perhaps representing our dream mini home. The house doesn’t occupy large land, with just 112 square meters you can have a compact house and this house was designed by Manuel Villa.
At first Manuel Villa thought that it will be best to use it as a working studio due to its serenity. But then we guessed that judging by the natural and beautiful surrounding this small construction then could also meant for a simple living for those who want to live close to the nature. The mini design ensured that it has strategic windows enough to give natural lighting. Ventilation also needed as the weather sometimes won’t be too friendly. Wood and concrete are used here. What I really like is the permanent roof there as you don’t need any more roof maintenance. Is it one of your mini dream house?
